I want your images to be one of a kind. So, we take these ideas and add to them or manipulate them to be EPIC. I am open to try just about anything. No idea is too crazy to discuss ways to achieve it. Thats why I love me job so much and love seniors! You all are so open minded and fun!4 years ago I began mentoring this amazing girl in photography. Although it sure doesn’t seem right that she is already a senior, it was an absolute pleasure doing her Senior Portraits.
As you can see by her pictures. . . Daddy is a bit of a FORD fan. As a matter of fact he owns Marion’s Ford Dealership, Southworth Ford, which also happens to be my husbands place of employment.
So not only was our session was filled with lots of gorgeous pictures in an old FORD truck, it was also lots of laughs, fun and a bit of adventure. No iPads where left behind, and no downpours to run from.
I cant wait for Senior Session Part II!
This session was for sure the most interesting of the season this far.
As a storm is approaching, Katherine has no clue that the sky looks like its going to eat us. She just knows her photographer is moving quickly, trying to get the brilliant sky shots and trying to beat the rain. Really, I am working hard to get the shots before the lighting strikes the metal camper!
We beat the rain by seconds and then called in a favor to use the top secret indoor location that I keep up my sleeve for rainy a rainy day. 20 minutes of an evil storm and 2 seconds from the new location and Stephen, my assistant, says to me, “Oh no! Your iPad!”
“Where is it Stephen?”
“Well, laying on the front bumper of the camper!”
Squealing of tires, heart pounding and driving like a maniac in semi flooded roads, I am thinking how thankful I am for awesome insurance! We get there and find the cheep aftermarket case was covered in water. 
Thank goodness for amazing Apple products because a towel wipe is all it took, and the iPad was as good as new!
The storm was brutal, but we were safe and able to finish the session indoors enjoying dramatic lighting and creative sets. I Love my Job!
